Is HitPay regulated by the MAS?

HitPay Payment Solutions Pte Ltd is currently carrying on business under an exemption granted by the Monetary Authority of Singapore and is currently exempted from holding a licence to provide payment services under the Payment Services Act (No. 2 of 2019). HitPay Payment Solutions Pte Ltd continues to provide such services pursuant to the Payment Services (Exemption for Specified Period) Regulations 2020.

HitPay Payment Solutions Pte Ltd has applied for the Major Payment Institution licence under the Payment Services Act from the Monetary Authority of Singapore.

Does HitPay provide any protection on merchant funds?

Your funds are kept strictly segregated in a trust account with a tier-1 partner bank, who is guaranteed by the Singapore Deposit Insurance Scheme (SDIC). This is as prescribed by the Payment Services Act, following MAS guidelines on the same.

Does HitPay provide payment security and fraud protection?

HitPay forces HTTPS for all services using TLS (SSL), including our public website and the HitPay Dashboard. HitPay checkout pages is served only over TLS and HitPay's official libraries connect to HitPay's servers over TLS and verify TLS certificates on each connection. All card numbers are encrypted at rest with AES-256. Decryption keys are stored on separate machines
