HitPay forces HTTPS for all services using TLS (SSL), including our public website and the HitPay Dashboard. HitPay checkout pages is served only over TLS and HitPay's official libraries connect to HitPay's servers over TLS and verify TLS certificates on each connection. All card numbers are encrypted at rest with AES-256. Decryption keys are stored on separate machines.
Yes! HitPay provides a one-year limited warranty against defective materials and workmanship in a HitPay Terminal Product. The warranty period begins on the date of your original purchase of the HitPay Terminal Products from HitPay and ends one year after that date.
If, during this warranty period, you make a claim under this Limited Warranty and you follow our instructions for returning the HitPay Terminal Product, we will, at our option and to the extent permitted by law, either repair the HitPay Terminal Product, replace the HitPay Terminal Product, or refund to you all or part of the purchase price of the HitPay Terminal Product. This Limited Warranty applies only to unmodified hardware components of the HitPay Terminal Product used in accordance with these terms and conditions and not subject to accident, abuse or neglect.
